Introduction

 My Name is Nek’ka Migel. I was born in a large city in Ohio in the 60’s. I grew up in a neighborhood where most of the parents were still together. The kids all knew one another, and we grew up together.

What I didn’t know as I was growing up was that we were considered poor, living below the poverty line in the United States of America.

Overcoming a poverty mindset can be quite a challenge. Read this book to see how a single stay-at-home mom was able to change her thinking about money. There are poignant questions at the end of the chapters.
